Caabu school workshop on Syria and military intervention with Derby High School

On 2 April 2019 Caabu hosted 13 students from Derby High School for a workshop on Syria, military intervention, its consequences including the refugee crisis and extremism. During the day, the students heard from different speakers and took part in various activities to better enhance their knowledge of Syria and the pros-and-cons of military interventions.

Caabu welcomes the UK government's reiteration of its historic position that the Golan Heights is territory occupied by Israel. This follows the decision of President Trump to recognise Israeli sovereignty over the Syrian Golan Heights. 

MPs speak in Urgent Question on Gaza border deaths and how the UK voted on UNHRC Inquiry

On 22 March 2019, an Urgent Question was tabled by the Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry MP on Gaza border deaths and how the UK voted on the UN Human Rights Council Inquiry.
