Caabu director Chris Doyle spoke on an Al Jazeera English panel discussion about Turkey's invasion of northern Syria.

Doyle warned of “the stirring up of ethnic and sectarian tensions that will be pitting Turk, Kurd and Arab against each other in a way that actually will disrupt the stability of the region.”  He referred to the many Syrians fleeing but “they don't know where to flee to. There aren't clear areas that are going to be safe.”

Caabu director Chris Doyle will be speaking at an open day organised by Living Stones of the Holy Land Trust, and will be delivering the Michael Prior Lecture on Saturday 16 November 2019. The whole event will last from 10.30am to 4.00 pm, with the lecture being given at 11:30am. More information can be found here.

If the UN General Assembly missed Binyamin Netanyahu’s annual shenanigans, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was a more than adequate substitute. He even brought the props along with him, maps of Israel’s ever-expanding borders and one of his plans for northern Syria.
