MPs urge Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt to intervene on Airbnb decision to continue listing in illegal Israeli settlements

MPs Holly Lynch, Lilian Greenwood, Graham Jones, Chris Elmore and Julie Elliott have written to Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt urging him to intervene on the decision by Airbnb and other such sites to continue listing in illegal Israeli settlements. They visited Palestine on a delegation with Caabu and Medical Aid for Palestinians in September 2017.

They write: "We were distressed by many of the things we saw on that delegation, but one of the issues we sought to address upon our return, was that tourists could book to stay at properties in illegal Israeli settlements which contravene international law in breach of the UN Security Council Resolution 2334 and undermine the two-state solution, using booking sites including Airbnb."
