A Caabu-Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)Parliamentary delegation recently returned from the West Bank. The delegation, which took place from 12-16 February 2018, included Conservative MP and member of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee Bob Seely MP (Isle of Wight), and Labour MPs Jess Phillips (Birmingham Yardley), Shadow Policing Minister Louise Haigh (Sheffield Heeley) and Shadow International Development Minister Dan Carden (Liverpool Walton).

The latest United Nations Security Council Resolution on Syria calling for a thirty day cessation of hostilities was “dead on arrival.”  The Syrian regime did not pause in its bombardment of eastern Ghouta and still it is making no attempt to adhere to the terms of the resolution.  It exposes once again its contempt for international law and the disgraceful manner in which Russia continues to protect its ally from any accountability for its actions.

Caabu delegates speak in Parliamentary debate on the military detention of Palestinian children by Israeli Authorities

Several of Caabu's Parliamentary delegates spoke in a Westminster Hall debate on the military detention of Palestinian children by Israeli authorities on 7 February 2018. The debate was secured by Sarah Champion MP, who visited the West Bank on a Caabu/Medical Aid for Palestinians delegation in September 2015.
