Following the publication of Israel's largest human rights group B'Tselem's landmark report: A regime of Jewish supremacy from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea: This is apartheid, Caabu and Palestine Solidarity Campaign UK (PSC) would like to invite you to This is Apartheid: Caabu and PSC online briefing on the realities for Palestinians living under occupation on Monday 22 March at 6:30pm (UK time GMT).

Israel's largest human rights group, B'Tselem, recently published a report A regime of Jewish supremacy from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea: This is apartheid. Palestinians have been pointing out the apartheid reality they live in for years, but B'Tselem's declaration remains hugely significant.

We'll be speaking with B'Tselem's executive director Hagai El-Ad, and renowned Palestinian lawyer and commentator Diana Buttu. Register here.

About the speakers

Al-Shabaka Policy Advisor Diana Buttu is a lawyer who previously served as a legal advisor to the Palestinian negotiating team and was part of the team that assisted in the successful litigation of the Wall before the International Court of Justice. She frequently comments on Palestine for international news media outlets such as CNN and BBC; is a political analyst for Al Jazeera International and is a regular contributor to The Middle East magazine. She maintains a law practice in Palestine, focusing on international human rights law.

Hagai El-Ad is the executive director of B'Tselem بتسيلم בצלם, the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Previously he was director of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI, 2008-2014) and the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance (JOH, 2000-2006).
